“I started my humanitarian mission in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic”

She is responsible for the health response project against the Ebola virus in Goma, North Kivu. She was scheduled to join the DRC mission on 17th March, but with the arrival of the pandemic in France, containment measures and border closure delayed her departure. She describes how she was finally able to join the mission in early June on a specifically chartered humanitarian flight, and what preventive measures had to be taken to limit any risk of the spread of COVID-19.Read more -
In Afghanistan, one of our teams victim of an explosive attack
Published on 9 May 2019 | NewsOn Sunday, 5th May, a vehicle carrying five staff members from one of our mobile health teams was attacked with explosives. The driver sadly succombed to his injuries. All of our five colleagues were injured in the attack. Première Urgence Internationale, which is intervening in Afghanistan since 1979, strongly condemns this serious attack.Read more
