[Gallery] Ukraine, a forgotten conflict at Europe’s doors

The photographer and journalist Sadak Souici was sent by Première Urgence Internationale twice in the east of Ukraine, near the front line. A first time in summer (under 35°C) and a second in winter (under -15°C). His pictures capture the ravages of war in the daily life of the population and the difficulties faced by the Ukrainien people.

This photographic work was made possible by the support of the Direction générale pour la protection civile et les opérations d’aide humanitaire européennes (DG ECHO) of the European Commission.
