Your donations Work 2022
Monday, October 3rd marks the launch of France Générosités’ major annual campaign “Your donations work”. This collective action of solidarity is carried out by 131 associations and foundations that are members of France Générosités, including Première Urgence Internationale, around a common message: “Your donations act”. The objective of this campaign is to raise awareness of the positive impact of donations on all causes. It is also an opportunity to answer all the questions that everyone has about why, to whom and how to give.
why a campaign in 2022 ?
Despite the exceptional generosity of the French in 2021, the war in Ukraine, the increasing number of crises and the current economic and social context, associations and foundations working for the general interest must intensify their actions.
Through this campaign, all these organizations as well as Première Urgence Internationale would like to thank all donors. Their donations are important and have a positive impact on all causes such as solidarity in France and abroad, education, culture and heritage, health, research, medico-social, animal and environmental protection without forgetting the defense of human rights.
why give to pui ?
Première Urgence Internationale helps civilian victims, marginalized by natural disasters, wars or situations of economic collapse.
For 40 years, we have been providing a global response to the basic needs of populations affected by emergency crises. We help more than 6 million people in the 24 countries where we carry out our projects.
Each year, Première Urgence Internationale allocates most of its resources to the programs it deploys in its various fields of intervention. Fundraising uses only 0.2% of our resources.
Your donations are essential because they guarantee our freedom of action. They allow us to come to the aid of populations affected by forgotten crises. Crises that receive no attention from the media or institutional donors. The sums collected constitute the association’s own funds, giving it an autonomy of action and an increased reactivity.
how to support pui ?
Organizing fundraising campaigns, financial sponsorship or sponsorship of skills are ways of supporting PUI. Also, in-kind donations, payroll donations or life insurance donations are all ways to support PUI.
It is also possible to make a one-time donation, a regular donation through our website or even send us your check while choosing or not to which mission you want your donation to go.
